Meet Matt!
Matt was raised locally, and has a deep connection to the Nevada County Community. His Grandparents began the first day care in Grass Valley, Monalee’s Preschool. Matt has huge appreciation for other people, and he has always sought to be supportive and helpful. His passions include metal music, songwriting, lifting heavy things, and hiking with our LF Mascot, Rollo the Viking Rottweiler.
Growing up he loved hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and has always been involved in sports. He has had decades of sports performance experience as a baseball pitcher and a semi-professional football player. He has been a fitness professional since 2011 and his areas of expertise are Strength Training, Sports Performance, Conditioning Coaching, and Hypertrophy Training. Matt chose this career to give back to others, following his family’s example. He wants everyone to see that they can remove their walls, break through barriers, and be truly limitless!

Meet Courtney!
Courtney’s favorite things are paddle boarding, laughing with friends, poetry, and the mountains. She is a Nevada County native. Nature was her first gym. She was raised on a ranch in Penn Valley, and began hiking and swimming at a very young age.
From 5 years old until 18, she swam competitively. At the age of 20, she began to immerse herself in the weightlifting world. She has been a Fitness Professional since 2013. Bodybuilding, Weight Loss Coaching, Strength Training, Corrective Exercise, and Lifestyle Guidance are her areas of expertise. She loves rehabilitation and finds guiding people to a deeper understanding within themselves is so rewarding!

Meet the other Matt!
Matt was raised in Truckee for most of his early life. Raised by a single mother running a martial arts studio, Matt learned of the importance of chasing your dreams and helping people along the way. Matt loves to see people win in life, from big life wins to learning how to move without pain or lift the most weight they ever had. Seeing the joy in other’s lives is what drives him. Matt loves to do things with his family especially a nice round of golf together. He also enjoys the outdoor life, from camping trips to early morning fishing trips.
Growing up in Truckee Matt developed a love for all things outdoors. A life time of staying in shape lead Matt to help people professionally starting in 2018. Matt has been a youth sports coach in the Grass Valley area for almost 20 years. He loves working with young athletes and helping them develop a positive relationships with sports and gym life. Matt has experience with all age groups from 12 years old to 90 years young. He has the ability to program each session to your current abilities while still challenging you to help you truly become Limitless!

Meet Michelle!
“Michelle was born and raised in Nevada County where family roots run deep. She grew up playing sports, dancing, hiking, mountain biking, and enjoying nature. She discovered, at an early age, her passion for the fitness and health world.
She did Sports Medicine ROP where she interned at a local physical therapy office. She then went to Santa Cruz to play soccer and was in the athletic training program. From there, she was recruited to play soccer in Kansas and continue her studies in Biology. After completing her years of eligibility in soccer, she transferred to Sac State and got her B.S. in Kinesiology with emphasis in therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation.
She began personal training in early 2016 and explored multiple areas of the field. She specializes in Corrective Exercise, Strength and Conditioning, Postural Deviation, Bodybuilding, weight loss, Behavior Change, and overall wellness. She worked for Radius:Physical + Sports Rehab for three years as the Rehabilitation Specialist. She felt like there was more she could add to the tool belt to aid her is her career of helping others live their best life with a Holistic approach. She decided to attend NHI and became a Certified Massage Therapist.
She now gets the pleasure of working along side family, training at Limitless Fitness, and performs bodywork at her studio. She specializes in deep tissue, trigger point, and sports massage.
She feels she has found her calling in helping others become stronger and happier versions of themselves, living more fully, and building genuine connections.
On her off time, you can find her playing soccer, hiking, lifting, paddle boarding, adventuring, spending quality time with friends and family, and enjoying the beautiful place we live.”

Meet Josh!
Josh was born in Auburn and raised in Rocklin, CA. Involved in sports since he was young, in
high school Josh played football and participated in track and field. He threw shot put and discus as
well as competed in the 100m dash, 110m high hurdles, and long jump. His involvement in athletics is what sparked him to endeavor down the path of becoming a fitness trainer, or as he prefers to describe himself, a movement specialist.
In addition to the above sports experience, Josh has participated also in mixed martial arts, bodybuilding,
power lifting, strongman, grip sports, and even paintball tournaments! Hobbies he partakes in are
bouldering, leather crafting, and going on motorcycle adventures.
Josh has been part of a gym in some capacity since he was 13 years old. He has always wanted to be in the fitness world. Professionally, he began his fitness journey officially in 2013. His specialties are in strength and conditioning, bodybuilding/hypertrophy development, and sports specific coaching.
Josh was driven, pulled, and drawn to this line of work to give back the wealth of knowledge he has acquired gifted by all those influential people around him while he grew up in the gyms and in sports. His aim is to pay it forward, sharing that knowledge with his community and anyone around him who wishes to improve their well-being. He believes the human body is resilient and capable of great things, and his ultimate aim is to teach people that they are more capable than they can imagine!
